Le BBT500H est une tête d'amplification de basse tout numérique qui fait appel à la technologie DSP de Yamaha pour offrir aux bassistes de nombreuses possibilités de personnalisation du son tout en restant simple à utiliser. Recourant à la technologie numérique très efficace d'amplification de puissance de Yamaha, le BBT500H peut fournir une puissance inégalée de 500W/2 tout en restant compact et léger. Le BBT500H propose aux bassistes des possibilités nombreuses de commande précise et de personnalisation du son, avec ses 11 types de son de basse, un égaliseur semi-paramétrique à 5 bandes, un compresseur, un limiteur et un éliminateur de bruit. Il est également équipé d'un simulateur de haut-parleur et d'une boucle d'effets pour encore plus de polyvalence sonore. Le BBT500H offre en outre 5 emplacements de mémoire interne qui vous permettent de stocker 5 configurations sonores (patches) qui peuvent être rappelées instantanément par appui sur une touche. Il est également compatible MIDI et peut s'intégrer à un système de biamplification (couplement de deux amplificateurs pour constituer un seul système), ce qui en fait un excellent choix aussi bien pour le travail en studio que pour les prestations sur scène.
