Recourant à la technologie numérique très efficace d'amplification de puissance de Yamaha, le BBT500-115/BBT500-110 peut fournir une puissance maximale de 500 W sous impédance de 2. Le BBT500-115/BBT500-110 propose aux bassistes des possibilités nombreuses de commande précise et de personnalisation du son, avec ses 11 types de son de basse, un égaliseur semi-paramétrique à 5 bandes, un compresseur, un limiteur et un éliminateur de bruit. Il est également équipé d'un simulateur de haut-parleur et d'une boucle d'effets pour encore plus de polyvalence sonore.
