What’s in the Box Obi Worldphone MV1 Battery Charging Cable MV1 Overview 1 2 3 4 Touch Display Power/Wake Key Volume Keys Micro USB Connector Installing SIM Cards 1) Power the phone off before inserting or removing SIM cards. 2) Hold the phone with the touch display facing down. Use your thumb to remove the battery cover, as illustrated below. 3) Remove the battery, as shown below. 4) Place the SIM card(s) into the slots with the contacts facing down and cut-off corner facing out, as detailed below. 5) Secure battery and battery cover onto phone. 5 6 7 Installing Memory Card You can also use a microSD card in the MV1 to store extra photos, videos, and music. 1) Power the phone off before inserting or removing the microSD card. 2) Hold the phone with the touch display facing down. Use your thumb to remove the battery cover, as illustrated below. 3) Remove the battery, as shown below. 4) Place the microSD card into the appropriate slot with the contacts facing down and cut-off corner facing out, as detailed below. 5) Secure battery and battery cover onto phone. Power On/Off & Basic Operations Power On Press the Power/Wake key until your phone vibrates. When you power on your Obi phone for the first time, you’ll need to follow the on-screen prompts to set up your device. Power Off Press and hold the Power/Wake key for a few seconds and tap Power Off on the touch display. Standby Mode To go into standby mode, press the Power/Wake key once and the display will dim. To wake from standby mode, press the Power/Wake key once and the display will illuminate. Make a Call There are several ways to make a call from your Obi phone. From the Home screen, tap the Phone icon: 1. Use the keypad to enter a number 2.
